Yet another layout of my beautiful grandaughter
She is a good subject to scrapbook.

Big Smiles

I used the following colour challenge and sketch to help me to put the layout together.
Evidence: Chevrons, Animals & Map Paper
Journaling: Make a List

Journaling on back of bunny card reads -

1. Cute as pie
2. Sweet as Sugar
3. Such a smiler
4. A cheeky money

Berwick Bimble - Lets Get Sketchy

Berwicke Bimble - Lets Get Sketchy

This super sketch is from Brenshevia @ Lets Get Sketchy

I love the simple, graphic design and adapted it for just one photo.
 -----

This is what I made of it

 The journalling reads:
We love taking our grandson on adventrures.  He especially loves going on the tag-a-long bike and telling grandad to 'go faster'  This trip we cycled from Pot a Doodle to Berwick.  We got a puncture along the way.

Tobha Mor - Stuck Sketches

I loved this sketch from Stuck Sketches and couldnt resist having a go.

The photos I used I have been trying to scrap for ages and just couldn't get the right vibe.

I adapted the sketch to give the photos a more linear approach

and this is what I made of it!

The photos are of a hostel and surrounding area in Howmore (Tohba Mor in Gaelic), South Uist, Outer Hebrides.  We have stayed here a couple of times and loved it.

The journalling reads: We have been here on our cycling adventures.  A hostel small in size but big in character.

Ferry Fanatics - Lets Get Sketchy/CSI296

I love this simple sketch by Lets Get Sketchy
I found it so easy to get started

I really love the layout I have created

I also used a colour challenge from Colours Stories Inspiration (below)

Evidence: Stars/Stripes, Flags, Circle
Testimony: Thank you note

Journalling reads:  To my husband - Thank you for going along with my enthusiasm for adventures, specifically to the islands of Scotland.  I has turned out to be a great love for us both and somewhere we are both drawn back to year after year.

And this is what I put together.....

The photo is of my hubby and myself on our way back to mainland Scotland from the Isle of Arran.

Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty

I want a bit glitter crazy with this layout
I am totally loving having a grandaughter after growing up with no sisters, having a son and a grandson it is a joy to buy clothes that are pink, frilly and glittery.

This is my granddaughter Isabelle.

I loved the purple cast on the photo and used it as inspriation for the colour for the layout.

Kielder

I love this photo of my grandson Jacob.  He nearly always has a happy smiley face.

We'd been staying in the Youth Hostel in Keilder and had a cycle around part of the Kielder Resevior.

My grandson was on a tag-a-long bike and the spray from the back wheel of the bike in front was pebble-dashing his face with mud.  I immediatley took a photo (18/10/14)

I used stamped gears to symbolise the bike element of the story and of course the journalling card with 'sweet ride' on it.  Arrows were used to indicate sped and the white splash to indicate the water element of the story.
