Up High

My layout about my husband and grandson. Our grandson absolutely and unequivocally loves to be carried on his grandads shoulders.

This photo was taken on the first time we had been camping with our grandson. We were walking around the campsite and he was having a great time being able to spot everything.

I kind of just through this together, but I still love it. I hope you like the balloon stamp I used to kind of match with the high theme.

10 Things (I love about you)

I am a total addict when it comes to Sassafras Lass papers and I am still trying to precure papers from the older ranges whilst buying the new.

I love the Count Me In papers and used the Elementary sheet for this layout. I used glossy accents to give a glaze to the numbers down the left hand side. I wanted to keep things simple as I wanted the focus to be on the slightly unusal picture and the list of what I love about my gorgeous grandson.

I used alphas from Making Memories which were gronded on a strip of felt ribbon, I also used numbers from Thickers. The honeycomb strip underneath was cut using a Cuttlebug die.

I am really glad I did this layout as it really made me think about all the lovely things about my grandson.

Hope you like it!

Until next time...

Glammed Up

This photo was taken at a makeover quite a few years ago. I don't normally look this 'glam' unfortunatly, but it just goes to show how we can all look like we belong on a magazine cover with a bit of 'spit and polish.

I think the papers came from the Laundry Line range form My Minds Eye. I tore a couple of the edges and inked them for definition. I used a fiskars template to make the frame, which I wanted to be bright (orange) to draw attention to the photograph.

Hope you like it... till next time.

Angelic

I wanted to scrap this lovely full frame photograph of my fabulous grandson and wanted to keep to keep the focus on the photo.

I picked plain cardstock and used about 2/3 of a sheet of blue shaped mullberry paper. I used my pokey tool around the edge and joined up the dots to give the effect of stitching.

I matted the photo onto some angel hair attached it to the blue mullberry paper. I also used an edge from some Sassafras Lass paper, a star stamp, twill ribbon, an Adore ticket and some chip board wing to finish the layout off.

I love the simplicity of this layout.

Hope you like it! Till next time...
